2025 NFL Seven-Round Mock Draft – Justin Mark
Completing A Seven-Round Mock Draft
Real quick, before we get started, let me give you a little background on this mock draft. Every year, I complete a seven-round mock-up prior to the NFL draft, and every year, I’m reminded that I could never GM 32 teams. It is painstakingly difficult trying to predict every pick.
On top of that, with the amount of time it takes to mock draft and write on every player, there’s bound to be changes while I’m writing it. For example, I was in the sixth round of the draft when Russell Wilson signed with the Giants. Stefon Diggs also signed with the Patriots.
Changes to a team like that may change their outlook in the first couple of rounds. However, rather than redo the whole draft, it was left as is prior to those free agent signings. I started round one five days after the free agency period officially opened.
I used team needs as listed in PFF and on NFL.com, PFF grades of current starters, as well as team visit trackers. Last thing, we all know there will be trades. However, this mock is assuming no trades will be completed.
Round 1
The Titans are currently on the clock for the number one pick and it’s becoming more and more clear that they’re going to draft Cam Ward. After that, however, is a complete crap shoot. Some say Abdul Carter is the best player in the draft and a generational edge rusher.
Others say it is Travis Hunter, although there are some GMs in the NFL who doubt if he can play wide receiver and cornerback effectively like he did in college. Especially at his smaller stature.
The next quarterback off the board is going to be argued up until one of them gets drafted. Should it be Shedeur Sanders or Jaxson Dart? I think the Giants have set themselves up nicely to draft Sanders and let him sit and learn behind two winners, the “W” brothers, Wilson and Winston.
A lot of fantasy football enthusiasts will be eager to see where Ashton Jeanty lands as well. The 2025 seven-round NFL mock draft gets started with Cam Ward and ends.
# | Team | Pick | Pos | College |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Titans | Cam Ward | QB | Miami |
He's not the number one player on the draft board for most. However, he's the biggest need for the Titans. They currently have a huge need at quarterback after Will Levis didn't pan out to be their franchise back. Now they start over with Ward, who is a gunslinger that can read the field fairly well. Some are starting to compare him to Ben Roethlisberger. | ||||
2 | Browns | Abdul Carter | ED | Penn State |
At first I had Abdul Carter dropping as low as eighth. In the end though, I just couldn't do it. The Browns snatch him up here, making a nightmare for opposing QB's to go against Carter and Garrett. Carter finished last year with 13 sacks, 10 hits, and 43 hurries on 350 pass-rush snaps. He has a pass-rush win rate of 22.6% and a pass rush grade of 92.4 per PFF.com | ||||
3 | Giants | Shedeur Sanders | QB | Colorado |
The Giants make it two Colorado players in a row and two quarterbacks in the top-three with Shedeur Sanders. Sanders is a polarizing player that has a lot of eyes on him due to his talent, his ego, and his father. However, he's never rattled and he takes care of the football. His comparisons are part Geno Smith part Teddy Bridgewater. Now he steps on to New York's big stage to try and help turn the Giants around. | ||||
4 | Patriots | Tetairoa McMillan | WR | Arizona |
The Patriots have put themselves in a great position to take one of their biggest needs after a strong free agency. Something Drake Maye needs to continue development is a big time wide receiver. The Patriots get that in Tetairoa McMillan. He's 6-5 with excellent athleticism and a very high football IQ. He'll be Maye's new best friend. | ||||
5 | Jaguars | Mason Graham | DT | Michigan |
The Jaguars take Mason Graham, a 6-3, 320 monster who is fast for his size and is an excellent run-stopper. He's spent most of his collegiate career in the B-Gap on the defensive line and scored a 2024 PFF run-defense grade of 92.6. His pass rush win rate was 13.8% and 12% on run-stop rate. He'll be a big anchor to their d-line. | ||||
6 | Raiders | Ashton Jeanty | RB | Boise State |
Ashton Jeanty to the Raiders feels inevitable. The Boise State standout finished last year with 2,595 yards and 29 rushing touchdowns. He had a 6.9 yard per carry average and part of that was brought down because teams had to repetitively stack the box. They won't be able to do that every down in the NFL. Jeanty will make Raiders fans quickly forget about the days of Josh Jacobs. | ||||
7 | Jets | Will Campbell | OT | LSU |
Something new quarterback Justin Fields could benefit from is a blindside blocker. Their current LT from last year did not finish with a very high pass-blocking grade. They draft the best tackle on the board here in Will Campbell and flip Fashanu to right tackle. Fields now has two 6-6 tackles to help him stay upright, or to create space for him when he wants to take off. | ||||
8 | Panthers | Travis Hunter | WR/CB | Colorado |
The Panthers need more playmakers and they get one by taking Travis Hunter who is one of the most interesting prospects we've seen in the past handful of drafts. He wants to play both WR and CB. The Browns could use help at both positions, but ultimately I think he becomes a game-changer for them at cornerback. | ||||
9 | Saints | Jahdae Barron | CB | Texas |
The Saints boost their secondary with Texas CB Jahdae Barron. He'll prove to be an excellent addition to play opposite last year's rookie Kool-Aid McCinstry. Barron only allowed a 54.5% completion rate when throwing towards him and 0 touchdowns. He held quarterbacks to a 34.2 rating when they threw his way. | ||||
10 | Bears | James Pearce Jr. | ED | Tennessee |
The Bears did a great job in the free agency and set themselves up to take the highest player available on their board. They need a young edge rusher to step in opposite of Montez Swet and James Pearce fits that bill perfectly. He is very well balanced at stopping both the pass and the run and had a pass-rush win rate of 23%. | ||||
11 | 49ers | Josh Simmons | OT | Ohio State |
This may seem like a reach to some, however the 49ers are smitten with Simmons already. He is coming off a torn ACL in 2024 but in 2023 he only allowed one sack on 443 pass-block snaps. The 49ers met with Simmons at the combine and liked what they saw. | ||||
12 | Cowboys | Mike Green | ED | Marshall |
With Jeanty gone, picking Mike Green out of Marshall feels like a Jerry Jones type play. They need somebody that can effectively get after the quarterback outside of Micah Parsons. Not to mention Parsons potentially being gone after next year. Green was graded by PFF at 91.4 for pass rush and 90.2 for run defense. He had 17 sacks last year, 10 hits, and 32 hurries. He'll fit well on this Dallas defense. | ||||
13 | Dolphins | Armand Membou | OT | Missouri |
The Dolphins draft tackle Armand Membou to play right tackle and help their pass game and run game. He was graded with an 87.6 run block grade and 86.6 pass block grade. Membou moves pretty quick for a big guy and could develop into a long-term starting tackle for the Dolphins. | ||||
14 | Colts | Tyler Warren | TE | Penn State |
Whether its Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones, the Colts need some more offensive playmakers. They get that with Tyler Warren. The tight end caught 104 passes last year for 1230 yards and 8 touchdowns. He also had a 61.9% contested catch rate. He's a physical player who has been compared to former Colts TE Dallas Clark. | ||||
15 | Falcons | Jihaad Campbell | LB | Alabama |
While I liked Atlanta's signing of Leonard Floyd to fill a need of theirs, I don't think he lasts very long. Jihaad Campbell would fit in as an edge rusher in their defense. His best fit is to be a pass-rushing OLB, which isn't exactly where the Falcons will put him. However, they'll make use and coach him up and he could become an All-Pro edge rusher for them. | ||||
16 | Cardinals | Donovan Ezeiruaku | ED | Boston College |
The Cardinals need help rushing opposing quarterbacks. They draft Donovan Ezeiruaku out of Boston College to get that help. Ezeiruaku had 14 sacks, 20 hits ,and 26 hurries on the quarterback last year with a pass-rush win rate of 18.2%. | ||||
17 | Bengals | Kenneth Grant | DI | Michigan |
The Bengals are a hard team to figure out. They may be trading their best defensive player. They're working on massive contracts for their two wideouts in order to make Joe Burrow happy. With their first pick in the draft they take Michigan's interior defensive lineman Kenneth Grant. He'll be an excellent run-stopper for them against the AFC North run-heavy teams. | ||||
18 | Seahawks | Elic Ayomanor | WR | Stanford |
While Seattle should address their offensive line, they can't help but try and replace DK Metcalf. They do that with Elic Ayomanor out of Stanford. The 6-2 receiver's skill set will compliment JSN and Kupp very well as he plays out of the X position. He's pro-comp has been James Jones. | ||||
19 | Buccaneers | Derrick Harmon | DT | Oregon |
It's not super common to find pass-rushing interior defensive lineman. The Bucs have Vita Vea to help stop the run so they add Derrick Harmon as the perfect compliment to him. Harmon had a 17.6% pass-rush win rate last year and grades well against the run as well. He helps keep the Bucs defense strong along the defensive line | ||||
20 | Broncos | Will Johnson | CB | Michigan |
The Broncos need somebody to help in coverage opposite Patrick Surtain. They draft Will Johnson, giving them that help. He's an off coverage zone-scheme type cornerback, but he's 6-2 and has really good athleticism. His zone coverage grade was 75 from PFF last year and he allowed a passer rating of 52.6 and 0 touchdowns. | ||||
21 | Steelers | Malaki Starks | S | Georgia |
Malaki Starks seems like the type of player Mike Tomlin would love to coach. He's a three-year starter at Georgia and has a high football IQ. He's a good tackler and can play free safety, strong safety, and slot cornerback. Tomlin and the Steelers will love that versatility and will love Starks. | ||||
22 | Chargers | Trey Amos | CB | Mississippi |
There are a couple of different directions the Chargers could go here. However, they decide to give help to their low-graded secondary with Trey Amos. He had a PFF coverage grade of 85.6 last year and he can play both man and zone fairly well. He allowed a passer rating of only 54.5 last year. | ||||
23 | Packers | Mykel Williams | ED | Georgia |
The defenses that have been thriving recently in the NFL seem to have some mixture of Georgia players on it. The Packers play in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL and grab edge rusher Mykel Williams to help out. He needs to keep developing his game to become a true pass-rusher. however, in the mean time, he's a really good run defender on the edge and comes from that Georgia pedigree. | ||||
24 | Vikings | Darius Alexander | DI | Toledo |
The Vikings grab DT Darius Alexander. He is a three-year starter who was graded 90.3 in run defense by PFF. They'll plug him in to anchor their defensive line and let him blossom. He's one of the strongest DT's in this draft class and can often beat double teams. | ||||
25 | Texans | Matthew Golden | WR | Texas |
The Houston Texans keep Matthew Golden in Texas. He can play both inside the slot and outside and has made some impressive one-handed catches. He's got good speed and can work the sideline very well. His pro-comp is Stefon Diggs, a guy the Texans just let walk in free agency. Now they get younger and faster. | ||||
26 | Rams | Emeka Egbuka | WR | Ohio State |
The Rams replace Cooper Kupp with slot receiver Emeka Egbuka. Playing in the slot for Ohio State last year, he had 1011 yards and 10 touchdowns on 81 catches. 785 of those yards came out of the slot. Matt Stafford will love this guy. | ||||
27 | Ravens | Shemar Stewart | ED | Texas A&M |
The Ravens select edge rusher Shemar Stewart out of Texas A&M. He's a really good run-defender on the edge. While his stats didn't pop with a lot of sacks, he did have 33 QB hurries in 315 pass-rush snaps. When you're hurrying the quarterback 10% of the time, plus being a good run-defender...that's not too shabby. | ||||
28 | Lions | Tyler Booker | G | Alabama |
Just because Ben Johnson is gone doesn't mean Dan Campbell is going to stop adding physical football players. Tyler Booker is a 6-5 guard who has good power and a high footbal IQ. He has long arms for an interior player and strong hands. The Lions will love this guy. | ||||
29 | Commanders | Josh Conerly Jr. | OT | Oregon |
After meeting with him at the combine the Commanders loved Josh Conerly. He fits their scheme well and will be able to help elevate the run and pass game. He may be moved to right tackle, but either way he should help protect Jayden Daniels, who's coming off a great first season. His pro-comp is Broderick Jones. | ||||
30 | Bills | Walter Nolen | DT | Mississippi |
The Bills want to get better at run-stopping and they do that by drafting defensive tackle Walter Nolen. They met with him at the combine and now add the big tank. He was graded 91.6 in run defense by PFF in 2024 and had an 11.9% run-stop win rate. He also had a true pass rush grade of 80.8. Not bad for a big dude in the middle. This also helps them in a potential Super Bowl matchup against the Eagles or an AFC playoff showdown versus the Ravens. | ||||
31 | Chiefs | Xavier Watts | S | Notre Dame |
The Chiefs have a couple of different needs but they can't help but fill their need at strong safety with Xavier Watts out of Notre Dame. Watts is an excellent cover safety who can also help stpo the run. He allowed a passer rating of only 30.1, which was 19th best in the nation. He Also allowed zero touchdowns while having six interceptions. He can be a Day 1 starter and help elevate the Chiefs right away. | ||||
32 | Eagles | Shavon Revel | CB | ECU |
It's hard to pick for a team that already has a lot of talent and not a lot of needs. However, I think the Eagles continue to strengthen their defense by drafting cornerback Shavon Revel. He's been a highly graded cornerback the past two years and can perform well in both man and zone coverage. He allowed a completion percentage of only 38.1% and an average passer rating of 48.8 last year. |
Round 2
I had the Browns passing on a quarterback in the first round but not the second. Another edge rusher and a new quarterback could help them turn things around sooner rather than later. They have a good start in this 2025 NFL seven-round mock draft.
The Bears get two picks in the second round and take more defensive players to revamp their defense. That’s three defensive starters in two rounds for the Bears.
# | Team | Pick | Pos | College |
---|---|---|---|---|
33 | BrownsComp Pick | Jaxson Dart | QB | Ole Mis |
The Browns continue a strong draft by getting a quarterback that probably shouldn't have slipped to the second round in Jaxson Dart. He's a two-sport athlete who has a big ar with natural movement and good mobility. In 2024 he had 4,276 passing yards, 29 touchdowns, 6 interceptions, and an average of a 122.3 passer rating. Deshaun Watson is finished. | ||||
34 | Giants | Luther Burden | WR | Missouri |
The Giants immediately get their new quarterback some pass-catching help with luther Burden Jr. He's a speedy receiver who can do it all who is drawing comparisons to Deebo Samuel. Burden finished tied for first among all NCAA receivers with 30 forced missed tackles. | ||||
35 | Titans | Jayden Higgins | WR | Iowa State |
The Titans have a lot of needs. With their second pick in the draft they help their new quarterback with Iowa State receiver Jayden Higgins. He's a possession receiver who runs excellet routes from any alignment. Last year he had 1185 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. PFF graded him with a receiving grade of 90.5 in 2024. | ||||
36 | Jaguars | Andrew Mukuba | S | Texas |
The Jaguars continue to elevate their defense by adding Texas safety Andrew Mukuba. His pro comp is Devin McCourty and is an excellet athlete. Mukuba grades better in coverage than most of the available safeties and can assist in run defense. He allowed a passer rating average of just 12.1 in 2024, with 0 touchdowns allowed and 5 interceptions. | ||||
37 | Raiders | T.J. Sanders | DI | South Carolina |
The Raiders add defensive tackle T.J. Sanders out of South Carolina who will line up next to Maxx Crosby to form a scary duo. He's a 3-technique guy but will work well in the Raiders defense. His pro comp is Quinton Jefferson and from the interior of the defensive line he's finished with five sacks in each of the last two years. | ||||
38 | Patriots | Jalon Walker | LB | Georgi |
Patriots add to their linebacking corps with Jalon Walker out of Georgia. His pro comp is Devin White. He's a natural pass rusher off the edge but has the size to play either ILB or OLB in the NFL. This makes him versatile and a linebacker that can be developed by a good defensive coach. Guess what, Patriots have one of those guys. | ||||
39 | Bears via CAR | Demetrius Knight Jr. | LB | South Carolina |
The Bears have a need at linebacker, especially after letting Jack Sanborn walk. They take Demetrius Knight Jr. who becomes the newest Monster of the Midway. His pro comp is Bobby Okereke. He's a great athlete and a physical player. He's older than most of the prospects in this class but he's very mature and a great tackler, something Chicago could improve on from last year. He will take their Sam position alongside Edwards and Edmunds. | ||||
40 | Saints via SF via MIA via DEN | Tyleik Williams | DT | Ohio State |
The Saints add to their defensive front-seven with Tyleik Williams. His pro comp is Da'ron Payne. He's a powerful DT who could develop into a great run-stopping lineman. His pass rush grade isn't great but his run defense grade is one of the highest in the drafts, which will make him a good fit for the Saints. | ||||
41 | Bears | Nick Emmanwori | S | South Carolina |
The Bears continue to elevate their defense by pairing their pick from two selections ago with safety Nick Emmanwori who also played at South Carolina. He's a bit of a freak athlete and can play in the box, slot, near the line, or in coverage. His pro comp is Obi Melifonwu and he has the tools to excel in the NFL. He could start Day 1, or sit and learn behind Byard and Brisker. Brisker has some struggles staying healthy, so this is great depth to provide. | ||||
42 | Jets | Jalen Milroe | QB | Alabama |
The Jets draft Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe to grow behind Fields. The best part about Milroe is if Fields gets injured, there's no step back in the dual-threat quarterback area becaues Milroe can be a dual threat as well. He needs some development as he was inconsistent in college. However, this feels like the perfect landing spot for him to sit and develop. | ||||
43 | 49ersComp Pick | Darien Porter | CB | Iowa State |
The 49ers draft cornerback prospect Darien Porter out of Iowa State. He's a wide receiver turned quarterback who may need some developmental time. However, he can immediately step in and make a big impact on special teams, he understands route trees, and he's a 6-4 cornerback, making him one of the taller corners. He's an incredible athlete who also excelled at track. Shanahan will find ways to use him on defense and potentially on trick plays in the offense . | ||||
44 | Cowboys | Omarion Hampton | RB | North Carolina |
Dallas fills a big need by drafting running back Omarion Hampton out of North Carolina. Hampton is a beast of a running back hwo has gone over 1500 yards in each of the last two seasons and scored 15 rushing touchdowns each. He also had 38 catches for 373 yards last year. His elusive rating is very highly graded and he will be a star running back for the Cowboys, something they've been lacking in the past several years. | ||||
45 | Coltsvia WAS | Princely Umanmielen | ED | Mississippi |
The Colts need pass rush help and they get it by drafting Ole Miss edge rusher Princely Umanmielen. He had 11 sacks in 288 pass rush snaps to go along with 16 QB hits and 28 hurries. He has a pass rush win rate of 22.8%. If you're wondering if he can play against upper competition, take a look at his game againts Georgia in 2024. | ||||
46 | Falcons | Maxwell Hairston | CB | Kentucky |
The Falcons bolster their secondary by selecting Kentucky CB Maxwell Hairston. He may not have had the best 2024 season after a good 2023, but he's a feirce competitor who excels at getting phsyical on the line with Wide Receivers. He has a high football IQ and is a really good tackler. He allowed 0 touchdowns in 2024, even though he only had one interception. | ||||
47 | Cardinals | Xavier Restrepo | WR | Miami |
The Cardinals add to their receiving corps and give Kyler Murray another weapon in Miami slo treceiver Xavier Restrepo. He's got great hands and can gain separation well. His pro comp is Sterling Shepard. Last year he played almost all of his snaps from the slot and had 1,127 receiving yards and 11 receiving touchdowns. | ||||
48 | ![]() Dolphins | Alfred Collins | DT | Texas |
The Dolphins continue building through the trenches, drafting Alfred Collins, a big DT out of Texas. He's 6-5 and 320 pounds and received a 2024 PFF grade of 87.2 overall. He's a strong player who can play violently anywhere along the line. His pro-comp is A'Shawn Robinson | ||||
49 | Bengals | Nic Scourton | ED | Texas A&M |
The Bengals met with Texas A&M edge rusher Nic Scourton at the combine. Now they'll add him to their team in the second-round. Trey Hendrickson wants out and Scourton can replace him at DE or play OLB. He's a savvy player who's already got a really nice developed skill set. His comparison is Shaq Lawson and he'll elevate this defensive line whether playing opposite Hendrickson or replacing him. | ||||
50 | Seahawks | Benjamin Morrison | CB | Notre Dam |
With two picks in the second round the Seahawks use the first one to boost the secondary with Benjamin Morrison. He's got active hands, a high football IQ and is a willing run defender. His pro-comp is Paulson Adebo and he can fit any system. He'll be a solid outside lcornerback for the Seahawks. | ||||
51 | Broncosvia IND | Colston Loveland | TE | Michigan |
The Broncos stop the slide for tight end Colston Loveland by drafting the Michigan tight end in the second round. He'll provide immediate aid to rookie Bo Nix. He can play at the tight end spot, an X receiver, or as a big slot receiver. He's extremely athletic and has great hands. | ||||
52 | Seahawksvia PIT | Willie Lampkin | G | North Carolina |
The Seahawks need some help on the interior of their offensive line and they get it with North Carolina guard Willie Lampkin. He graded equally well in run blocking and pass blocking. In 473 pass block snaps this year he allowed 0 sacks after allowing 0 in 483 pass block snaps last year. | ||||
53 | Buccaneers | Landon Jackson | ED | Arkansas |
The Bucs continue to beef up their defensive line by adding edge rusher Landon Jackson from Arkansas. Jackson contributes in both the pass rush game and the run defense game. He finished last year with seven sacks, 8 QB hits, 20 QB hurries and 3 batted balls. His pro comp is Carl Nassib and despite being 6-7 he has surprisingly quick athleticism. | ||||
54 | Packers | Jack Bech | WR | TCU |
The Packers get decent production out of their WR's but they don't have a receiver that can take over every game. They draft Jack Bech out of TCU to be that guy. His pro comp is Michael Wilson and he can line up anywhere. He's been in the slot, outside, as well as at tight end. | ||||
55 | Chargers | Cam Skattebo | RB | Arizona State |
The Chargers use their second round pick to get Cam Skattebo out of Arizona State. He as drawn comparisons to Kyren Williams and is going to be a juggernaut in Harbaugh's offense. I know they picked up Najee Harris, but Skattebo can be the long term answer for them as well as hepl in the receiving game. He finished 2024 with 1,712 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 543 receiving yards. He was 3rd in yards after contact and 2nd in missed tackles forced. | ||||
56 | Billsvia MIN | Bradyn Swinson | ED | LSU |
The Bills continue to create a force on their defensive line by adding Bradyn Swinson out of LSU. He finished 2024 with 9 sacks, 8 QB hits, and 43 QB hurries on 313 pass-rush snaps. he had a pass rush win rate of 22.1%. He'll elevate this defense to help against the other AFC offensive juggernauts. | ||||
57 | Panthers via LA | Jordan Burch | ED | Oregon |
Panthers fill a big need by adding edge rusher Jordan Burch out of Oregon. He's a versatile player who can play all along the line and has a very low missed tackle rate. He finished last year with 10 sacks and a 15.7% pass-rush win rate. He played A Gap, B Gap, oustide tackle and over tackle, which just speaks to his versatility. | ||||
58 | Texans | Carson Schwesinger | LB | UCLA |
The Texans need some help in the linebacking corps and they get it by drafting Carson Schwesinger. To'oTo'o was last year's addition and now they add another young backer to help bolster their defense. His pro comp is Payton Wilson. He has a high motor and isn't afraid to lay a hard hit on the offense. He has excellent ursuit speed and vision. | ||||
59 | Ravens | Grey Zabel | OT | North Dakota State/b> |
Drafting a small school guy can be risky and it leads to a bit of a slide for Grey Zabel. However, he can play any position on the line. He's athletic and will fit nice into the Ravens blocking Scheme. His pro comp is Graham Barton. He played all snaps at left tackle last year, but left guard and right tackle the year prior. | ||||
60 | Lionsvia LAR/i> | Azareye'h Thomas | CB | Florida State |
The Lions don't have many needs but one of them is at cornerback. They address that by drafting Azareye'h Thomas out of Florida State. He's a constant pre-snap communicator, can blitz effectively, and is highly competiting. He has a high football IQ and iwll help this Lions defense. | ||||
61 | Commanders | JT Tuimoloau | ED | Ohio State |
The Commanders give their defensive line some lift by adding JT Tuimoloau out of ohio State. He's really good against the run, but can also create sacks as a pass-rusher. In fact, last year he had 15 sacks, 14 QB hits and 22 hurries in 356 pass rush snaps. | ||||
62 | Bills | Sebastian Castro | S | Iowa |
The Bills draft Sebastian Castro out of Iowa to help at safety. They resigned Damar Hamlin, but they could do with some better play from either safety spot. Castro didn't have a very good 2024, but he will likely be able to build on his highly PFF graded 2023. | ||||
63 | Chiefs | Shemar Turner | DT | Texas A&M |
The Chiefs add to the defensive line with Shemar Turner. His pro comp is Dominique Easley. He's a 6-4, 300 pound d-lineman who's played prety much every spot along the line. he has a very high motor that the KC coaches will love. | ||||
64 | Eagles via NO/i> | Jack Sawyer | ED | Ohio State |
The Eagles lost a good pass-rusher in Josh Sweat and they add a good one in the second round in Jack Sawyer. He finished 2024 with 10 sacks, 16 QB hits, 38 hurries, and 6 batted passes. He may not be the ideal fit for their scheme, but they can't pass up on the talent and he'll be a playmaker for the defending Super Bowl champs. |
Round 3
As with all mocks, the 2025 NFL seven-round mock draft starts to get trickier the deeper you get in. The Browns, Patriots, Bears, Broncos, 49ers, and Chiefs all grab themselves a running back. Meanwhile, the Seahawks and Steelers add a rookie quarterback to compete for a future starting job with them.
# | Team | Pick | Pos | College |
---|---|---|---|---|
65 | Giants | Kelvin Banks Jr. | OT | Texas |
The Giants add Offensive Tackle Kelvin Banks out of Texas. He finished 2024 with an 89.9 pass block grade from PFF. He's got good foot speed and can be a great second-level blocker. He's 320 pounds but has impressive balance and a lot of natural athleticism. | ||||
66 | Chiefsvia TEN | Marcus Mbow | OT | Purdue |
Back to back tackles as the Chiefs take offensive tackle Marcus Mbow out of Purdue. He's got good size and arm length with fast hands and a nice pop at contact. He can also get out in space as a pulling blocker and has good footwork. | ||||
67 | BrownsComp Pick | Quinshon Judkins | RB | Ohio State |
The Browns draft Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins in the third here. Unfortunately after another knee blowout, Nick Chubb didn't look like the same back. The Browns don't have anybody to fill in for him adequately either. Now they do. Judkins has size, power, and speed and only had 2 fumbles in 717 carries. He's extremely reliable and can be their top guy, or he can compliment Chubb if Chubb. | ||||
68 | Raiders | Kevin Winston Jr. | S | Penn State |
The Raiders continue to improve their team by adding ball-hawk safety Kevin Winston Jr. He always seems to find the right spot on the field and he's one of the highest graded run-stopping safeties as well. He's got a high football IQ. He will be a hard-hitting safety and fit the Raider mold. | ||||
69 | Patriots | Dylan Sampson | RB | Tennessee |
The Patriots get better on offense by adding Dylan Sampson out of Tennessee. They have a thumper in Rhamdonre Stevenson, but Sampson adds a different level of gameplay with speed, patience, and vision. Last year he rushed for over 1400 yards and 22 touchdowns. He'll push Stevenson for the RB1 spot quickly. | ||||
70 | Jaguars | Elijah Arroyo | TE | Miami |
