Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers vs American University Eagles
Start Time: 6:40 PM EST
Both games tomorrow are tight ones on paper, starting with the battle for the 16th seed between the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers and the American University Eagles. The winner’s prize is a date with Duke on Friday. Ouch.
While I agree that the Eagles should be a slight favorite here – and KenPom has them ranked ahead of the Mountaineers – I don’t agree with the size of the spread. So I’m going to take American on the moneyline for the first half of my parlay.
Xavier Musketeers vs Texas Longhorns
Start Time: 9:10 PM EST
The late game should be a great one, with the Xavier Musketeers battling the Texas Longhorns for the #11 seed. These teams have played twice in previous NCAA Tournaments, with Texas prevailing in both cases.
And I think they’ll make it three straight tomorrow night. I have Texas as a half-a-point favorite here, so I’ll take them plus the points on the spread.
