Vancouver Canucks vs Washington Capitals

The Vancouver Canucks were supposed to be one of the top teams in the NHL this season, but they currently find themselves below average. The Washington Capitals, on the other hand, have widely exceeded expectations as their star sniper Alex Ovechkin closes in on Wayne Gretzky’s all-time goal record.
Vancouver is a very good road team, but I still like the Capitals tomorrow at home in the Capital One Arena. When I crunch all the numbers, they should be about 1.6 goals better than the Canucks tomorrow night.
The second half of my parlay is the over 5.5 goals for this game’s total. Washington is the top-scoring team in the league, and both the Capitals and the Canucks average around 6.3 goals scored in the games they’ve played this season. Maybe Ovechkin will net six on his own tomorrow, who knows.
