With just one week of the NFL season remaining, there tends not to be the best choices for Survivor picks. Also, some teams won’t have anything to play for. That said, I’ll give you some tips on strategies you may need to take a chance on.
Broncos, Chargers, Seahawks
These are your slam dunks. If you have one of these squads still available, use them this week. These teams either can improve their seeding by winning or are playing a team that is playing for nothing.
Cardinals
The Cardinals are an interesting case study for Week 18. Both them and the Niners aren’t playing for anything. Although I think Arizona will play more starters in this one. If you have been keeping up with San Fran, you know just how banged up they are. Purdy exited their Week 17 game on Monday. Bosa, Samuel, and Warner have all been banged up. I wouldn’t be surprised if none of the Niners stars go in this one.
Giants
If you’re stuck, pick the G-Men as an absolute last resort. I know we have been fading them all season, and it burned us last week, but the Giants aren’t an awful selection this week. The Eagles will likely rest their starters, as they can’t advance in seeding.
I know Saquon Barkley is close to the single-season rushing record, but according to Adam Schefter, he doesn’t expect Barkley or any Eagles starters to play in this game.
