South Florida Bulls vs San Jose State Spartans

They should at least invite teams from intemperate climates to the Hawai’i Bowl to let them warm their bones at Christmas. Instead, the South Florida Bulls and the San Jose State Spartans are escaping the sunshine for more sunshine.
The first half of my winning Same Game Parlay for the Hawai’i Bowl is the South Florida Bulls on the spread. Neither the Bulls nor the Spartans had very good seasons this year (which makes them playing in a bowl game funny), but the Bulls were slightly better and played a stronger schedule. They should be about a one-point favorite here, not the dog.
The second half of the parlay is a play on the total – I’m going with the 63.5 points for the final score. San Jose has played to 53 points on average this season; South Florida to 60. The Spartans have only gone over this total once in their last seven games and the Bulls three times in their past eight games.
