The UFC may have the audacity to take a brief hiatus over the holiday season, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t any MMA to watch and gamble on. The Czech Republic-based promotion Oktagon – one of Europe’s top promotions – runs an event next Sunday in Prague which they are billing as their biggest event yet. Here is your MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: Oktagon 65.

Oktagon 65: Paradeiser vs Keita 2
Sunday, Dec 29th – Start Time: Noon EST (Oktagon TV)
With three title fights on the card for the first time in Oktagon’s history, there isn’t much argument that next Sunday’s card going down in Prague’s O2 Arena is indeed the promotion’s biggest night ever. For my best bet, I’m dipping into the co-main event – for Oktagon’s Light Heavyweight Championship. I expect challenger (and former PFL and Bellator fighter) Will Fleury to beat current champion (and former UFC fighter) Karlos Vemola.
Fleury is bigger, younger, and more skilled than Vemola. And the level of competition Fleury has gone up against over the past few years also trumps Vemola’s. Look for a new champion to be crowned in the penultimate fight on the 29th.
