Memphis Tigers vs West Virginia Mountaineers

The day is finally here—it’s finally time for the Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl!! Okay, okay—maybe it’s not the most revered of the bowl games, but at the very least, we can make some money off of it tomorrow night. And at least there’s one ranked team in the game.
The ranked team would be the 10-2 Memphis Tigers, representing the American Athletic Conference. They are up against the mediocre 6-6 West Virginia Mountaineers, from the Big 12. Based on the advanced stats, the Tigers are the better team in this matchup, ranked 53rd compared to the 69th-ranked Mountaineers. And the Tigers have the momentum, winning three straight games and seven of their last eight.
The Mountaineers, meanwhile, got beat 52-15 last game and have dropped two of their past three. I have this game lined up right around where it is on the spread, but I’m counting on the good vibes on the Tigers side to help cover it for us.
