NBA Predictions & Preview For Thursday, December 12th

The NBA’s weird scheduling week continues, with the NBA Cup causing us to have very short slates of games each day to find some winning plays on. Regardless, I’m still hitting bets so we shall soldier on. And at least there will be no atrocious NBA Cup-branded courts on display tomorrow night. Here are your NBA predictions and preview for Thursday, December 12th.

NBA Predictions & Preview for Thursday, December 12th

Sacramento Kings vs New Orleans Pelicans

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

The New Orleans Pelicans are a train wreck. And they’re without their top two players – Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram – for their game against the Sacramento Kings tomorrow night. At least they’re at home, where they are 4-8 (as opposed to 1-12 on the road – yikes!).

Even the home-court advantage won’t be enough for the Pelicans to keep this game close. While the Kings are having a disappointing season, they are still miles better than the Pelicans. I have the game lined up as Sacramento -9, so the value is on the visitors on the spread.

Best Bets: Sacramento -5.5 (-110)

(Note: I’d be including the Boston Celtics on the spread against the Detroit Pistons to my plays for Thursday, as I have that game lined up as Boston -15. However, Jayson Tatum is questionable for the game. If Tatum ends up playing tomorrow night, take the C’s on the spread).

Overall Record: 48-25 (66%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): $1894.06
Return on Investment: 26%
