We’re betting on not just any college basketball action – no, we’re checking in on some Southern Conference vs Missouri Valley action! Are you ready?!! Ok, joking aside, my best bet is on the Chattanooga Mocs visiting the Evansville Purple Aces, and the play is on the home underdog.
Neither of these teams is having a particularly good season, with both of them in the negative in the advanced stat ratings. While Chattanooga’s 5-4 record looks much better than Evansville’s 3-6, the Mocs are particularly bad on the road, with only one win in four tries away from home this season.
When you take into account Evansville’s home-court advantage (worth 5.09 points) and the two teams’ advanced ratings, the Purple Aces should be favored by 4.5 points tomorrow night. We’ve got ourselves a play – Evansville plus the points.
