The holiday season is a prime time for NCAA basketball tournaments, and – case in point – the Jimmy V Classic tips off tomorrow in New York City. And the newly anointed best team in the nation just so happens to be playing in the first game of the night. For my SGPN Parlay for Tuesday (December 10th): College Basketball Parlay, we’re going all-in on the Tennessee Volunteers.

Miami Hurricanes vs Tennessee Volunteers
Start Time – 6:30 PM EST
The top team in the nation – as of this week at least – is the 8-0 Tennessee Volunteers. And chances are they’ll remain undefeated after leaving the court tomorrow night at Madison Square Garden. The Miami Hurricanes are vastly overmatched here and have lost six straight games despite not playing any true road games (only three neutral site games). I expect the Vols to trounce them and cover the large spread.
The second half of the parlay is the over 144.5 points for the game total. Miami’s defense is miserable while Tennessee’s offense is pretty powerful, so that makes me lean to the over. The Vols totaled 166 points in their last game, a win against Syracuse, scoring 96 points on their own. There’s no reason they can’t run up the scoreboard at MSG tomorrow night against a skidding Miami squad.
