UFC 310: Pantoja vs Asakura

My best bet for UFC 310 comes from the early prelims, so get this bet in before the 6:00 PM ET start time on Saturday night. And the play has dipped into plus odds since I recorded the MMA Gambling Podcast earlier this week, which is confusing but also great news for us.
The pick would be Max Griffin to beat Michael Chiesa in a welterweight fight. As mentioned, these odds confuse me. Chiesa is a part-time fighter at this point, only fighting twice over the past three years as he concentrates more on his work behind the desk on UFC broadcasts. And the only person he’s beaten over his last four fights (dating back to mid-2021) is a totally washed-up Tony Ferguson.
Griffin used to be a middleweight and Chiesa a lightweight, so I expect there to be a big size and strength advantage for Griffin here. That’s not to mention his clear edge in the striking.
