For my SGPN Parlay for Wednesday (December 4th): NHL Parlay, we’re checking in on a battle between one of the league’s best and worst teams going down in Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.

Nashville Predators vs Toronto Maple Leafs
Start Time – 7:30 PM EST
The Nashville Predators would be the “one of the worst teams in the NHL” that was referred to above, and the Toronto Maple Leafs would be one of the best. Toronto is on a really nice roll, and is deadly at home, owning an 11-3 record on their home ice of Scotiabank Arena. Nashville is slumping, is lousy, and is especially lousy on the road. Toronto on the moneyline is the first half of my parlay.
The second half of the parlay is under six goals for the game total. The Maple Leafs have given up the second-least amount of goals this season, and the Predators have the worst offense in the NHL. Both teams average right around 5.5 goals for their game totals this season. I was willing to make this play if the total was 5.5 goals – I’m especially comfortable with it set at six.
