Round two of golf from Royal Troon is here. We saw a ton of variance in round one. There is a path to put a few birdies on the scorecard, but coming in clean on this difficult back nine. Tiger Woods Less Than 76.5 Strokes
Do or die time for Tiger. Although he posted an ugly round of 79 in round one, it is not done for him yet. A round of three under is not off the table to make a late run at making the cut. Tiger knows this, and he will put his best effort out there to break par. More than anything, he will go out in the morning tomorrow and beat a majority of the extreme winds that are projected.
If Tiger can post a number, chaos will break loose, and a cut can be made. Everyone will be running to the table to pound this “Higher,” but we will buy the other side of the market at a very inflated price. Let’s cash another Underdog Fantasy Pick’em slip.
Xander Schauffele More Than 3.0 Birdies or Better
Schauffele posted a comfy 69 in round one to have himself in the mix in yet another major. He only made three birdies in that round but had some more birdie putts that did not drop. He will be going out with Tiger early before the wind gets extreme.
