Kyle Tucker Higher than 1.5 Total Bases
There is no doubt about it. Kyle Tucker is the best hitter in baseball right now. The 27-year-old is enjoying the best start to any season in his career. Tucker leads the league with 17 home runs to go along with his second-best 1.075 OPS. He is also red hot at the moment, hitting four home runs in his last three games.
On Wednesday, the left-handed hitting Tucker will face the left-handed pitching Tyler Anderson, who is having a great season in his own right. Tucker is a rare player who has actually hit lefties better than righties throughout his career. Tucker is also 7-9 in his career against Anderson, which bodes well for our pick!
Aaron Judge Higher than 0.5 Batter Walks
Yep. That’s right. I’m back taking Judge to record a walk. I might as well keep playing this until it fails because it has been money for us this season. If you missed out last few articles, I’ll catch you up. The first thing to know is Aaron Judge is leading baseball in walks with 40. Judge has been red hot lately and pitchers have been opting to put him on base, rather than suffer the consequences of pitching to the Yankees slugger, especially in RBI situations. In Judge’s last 11 games he has walked 13 times. Let’s run it back with a walk from Judge!
Tyler Glasnow Higher than 8.0 Strikeouts
Glasnow has looked sharp this season in his new threads. So far, he has posted a 2.90 ERA to go along with a 0.90 WHIP in 62.0 innings pitched. He also leads MLB in strikeouts with 81. He got roughed up a but in his last start but was still able to reach 8 Ks in just 5.0 innings pitched.
Today Glasnow will face the Diamondbacks who have been inconsistent offensively this season. If Glasnow can find a way to pitch deep into the game, he will hit this number with ease.
