Minnesota Twins vs Athletics

The (redacted) Athletics aren’t having such a good time in their first season as a nomad, only going 9-19 in their temporary home, the minor league ballpark of the Sacramento River Cats. Only the historically bad Colorado Rockies are worse at home this season.
Things aren’t bound to get better on Monday, as the Minnesota Twins come to town to start a four-game series. The Twins are 20-10 over their last 30 games and 14-6 over their last 20, with the advanced stats rating them 0.5 runs per game better than the average team, ninth best in the majors (the Athletics are at -1.8 runs).
Plus, Joe Ryan is on the bump for the visitors tomorrow. The soon-to-be 29-year-old (his birthday is this Thursday) is having a career year, posting a 5-2 record, a 2.57 ERA, and a 0.83 WHIP (third best in the majors).
Despite this, we’re getting the Twins at a reasonable price. This is probably due to Luis Severino pitching for the A’s tomorrow, but despite his strong start to the season, the team has only won once for him. Minnesota on the moneyline is my best bet for Monday.
