There’s a famous saying that “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” While that may be true, and it is actually insane to gamble, I think doing the same thing will pay off for us on Thursday. Florida Panthers vs Tampa Bay Lightning
Start Time: 6:30 PM EST
I was in on the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 1 of this Eastern Conference first-round series against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers, and the Bolts got spanked 6-2. So, technically, it would be considered insane to bet on the Lightning again in Game 2, right?
But that’s not how sports – and gambling – work. The Lightning were one of the best home ice teams in the NHL this season, and have already lost twice to the Panthers this season at the Amalie Arena. It can’t happen a third time – Tampa Bay is too good for that. The Lightning on the moneyline is the first half of our winning parlay.
I am, however, hoping one aspect of Game 1 repeats itself on Thursday night, and that is the goal lamps getting lit often. I’m taking the over 5.5 goals in this game to complete our parlay.
