Best Bet For Sunday (April 20th): NHL Predictions
Minnesota Wild vs Vegas Golden Knights
Start Time: 10:00 PM EST
The skating tenants of the T-Mobile Arena are, of course, the Vegas Golden Knights, who are in the midst of another stellar season. Despite only being in the NHL for eight seasons, they just completed their third regular season with at least 109 points (they ended with 110). The winner of the Stanley Cup two seasons ago, they are among a small handful of teams with a realistic shot at hoisting it this season as well.
This, of course, is all bad news for the Minnesota Wild, who have to face the Golden Knights in this Western Conference First Round series. The advanced stats have the Wild ranked as the second-worst team in the postseason, behind only the Montreal Canadiens.
My line for Game 1 is Vegas -1.02 goals, so the Golden Knights on the moneyline is my best bet for Easter Sunday.
