It’s getaway day for both the Seattle Mariners and the Cincinnati Reds tomorrow, so we’ve got an early start time in Cincinnati. And despite the Mariners about to wrap up a win on Wednesday night as I type these words (their 5-3 win is now officially in the books), I’m in on the underdog Reds tomorrow afternoon.
While their 9-9 record is nothing special, the advanced stats like Cincinnati this season, rating them a run and a half better than the average team, making them the sixth best team in the majors (Seattle sits at 0.1 and is tied for tenth). So the Reds have that going for them, plus the home-field advantage, plus Brady Singer on the bump tomorrow, who sports a perfect 3-0 record this season. Give me the home dog, the Cincinnati Reds, as my best bet for Thursday, and hopefully I’ll cash another plus-money bet.
