We may have four more days to go of regular season action in the NHL, but there really is nothing meaningful left to play for for any team. Not only are all the playoff berths pretty much locked up solidly but so are all the seeds within the playoffs. For my SGPN Parlay for Monday (April 14th): NHL Parlay, I’ve got a Same Game Parlay for two teams with really nothing to play for – they both are not seeing the playoffs this year (other than from their couches).

SAN JOSE SHARKS VS VANCOUVER CANUCKS

The San Jose Sharks and the Vancouver Canucks can book their tee times for Friday because their season ends with the expiration of the regular season. The Sharks are always bad, but the Canucks have been a big disappointment this season after having a breakthrough year in 2023/24.
But at least the Canucks can get a W tomorrow on their Rogers Arena home ice. The Sharks are bad everywhere, especially on the road, and are 0-3 against the Canucks this season. Vancouver on the moneyline is the first half of our winning parlay.
I’m pairing that play with under six goals to be scored in this game. Neither team has a high-powered offense, and two of their three previous meetings this season saw less than six pucks make the back of the net.
