While the UFC continues to be the king when it comes to MMA and gambling, there is more MMA than ever to bet on now. MMA Regional Pick of the Week: LFA 206
LFA Welterweight Fight: Kegan Gennrich vs. Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani
Card Start Time: Friday (4/11), 9:00pm EST (UFC Fight Pass)
In the welterweight main event, we see the former champion Kegan Gennrich trying to take a step back towards that title. In order to do so, he’ll have to take out ‘Mufasa’ – who is fighting in his second LFA main event.
I personally like Gennrich in this fight due to his ability to control the fight. His wrestling looked phenomenal as he beat Richie Miranda. It held up plenty well early in his fight with now-champion Richie Lewis as well, which is not an easy task.
Lebosnoyani is also a solid grappler, but tends to lean on his striking more. That often means he’s not the one to initiate the grappling and leaves him trying to counter more than getting off his own attacks.
With this just being a three-round fight, I think Gennrich’s intention to wrestle will be all of the difference.
