I was tempted to make another Scottie Scheffler play since he came through for us on Thursday, but instead we’re going with the Swede, Ludvig Aberg. The runner-up to Scheffler at last year’s Masters (while playing in his first-ever major, no less) is in the hunt for the green jacket again this year, ending Day 1 tied for second place with a 68 (among those he’s tied with is Scheffler, naturally).
Aberg scored a tournament-best 69 in last year’s Round 2 after coming out of the gate with a 73 on Thursday. Expecting him to have another solid Friday this year in Augusta is a fairly safe bet (as safe as gambling can be). My best bet for Friday is Aberg under 71.5 for the round.
