It’s pay-per-view time again in the UFC, and we’ve got a fun one for April. UFC 314 goes down this coming Saturday at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, with a title fight on top and plenty of fun, action fighters spread throughout the fight card. For my MMA Prop Play of the Week: UFC 314, I’m headed straight to the main event, just like I did with my underdog pick. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

UFC 314: Volkanovski vs Lopes
Start Time: 6:00 PM EST (ESPN/ESPN+)
Alexander Volkanovski is 36 years old and has been knocked out in back-to-back fights. Diego Lopes is 30, bigger, and has knocked out two of his last four opponents. Yet Volkanovski’s T/KO prop number is shorter than Lopes’s?!
Perhaps people are hoping against hope that Volkanovski has still got it, but as I’ve mentioned before, there are no comebacks in MMA for aging fighters. And once a fighter’s chin is gone, it’s gone. Find me another 35+-year-old former champion who all of a sudden stops getting knocked out and regains his/her elite form. I’ll wait.
Getting Lopes’s T/KO prop at such a high number is too good for me to pass up.
