The most anticipated tie of the round is arguably Arsenal’s clash with Real Madrid. While Real Madrid are historically the Champions League’s most dominant side, they’re fortunate to have reached the last eight of this season’s competition. Their shootout win over Atletico Madrid featured an incredible decision to disallow Julian Alvarez’s penalty, and Real looked incredibly vulnerable throughout the second-leg against their Madrid rivals. Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal reign has been a successful one overall, but too often they’ve fallen short in the biggest moments and there are now questions being asked about his future.
