We don’t often get a rematch in the NCAA championship game (actually maybe we do – I’m too lazy to look it up – so sue me), let alone a rematch of a blowout. But that’s what we’ve got in store for us tomorrow afternoon in the women’s national championship game. For my best bet for Sunday, April 6th: College Basketball Predictions, we’re headed back to the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas as a champion gets crowned. Let’s go!

UConn Huskies vs South Carolina Gamecocks
Start Time: 3:00 PM EST
That rematch would be between the #2 seed Connecticut Huskies and the #1 seed (and defending champion) South Carolina Gamecocks. The last two remaining teams in the nation first met up this season on February 16th, when the Huskies crushed the Gamecocks 87-58 on South Carolina’s home court, The Colonial Life Arena.
Which makes my best bet for tomorrow somewhat surprising – I’m in on the Gamecocks to avenge their loss. Actually, I’m technically not betting on them winning the game and successfully defending their championship, but I am counting on them covering the spread for us. After crunching the numbers, I have this game as a pick ’em, so the value is on South Carolina plus the points.
