Orlando Magic vs Washington Wizards

Start Time – 7:00 PM EST

The Washington Wizards came through for me big time on Wednesday, as they didn’t just cover the +12.5-point spread against the Sacramento Kings, but they actually won the game! Miracles do happen. But can they happen two days in a row?

Once again, I’m in on the Wizards, but they don’t have to win on Thursday if they don’t want to (and their front office definitely doesn’t want them to). My line is Orlando -10, so once again the numbers say play the Wizards.

Best Bet: Washington +13 (-105)

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Brooklyn Nets

Start Time – 7:30 PM EST

Can I really put my trust in another team actively not trying to win this season? It’s hard not to, with so many teams in that category at this point of this NBA season (nine teams to be exact, by my math). So the Brooklyn Nets are getting my money.

I don’t expect them to beat the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves tomorrow – they don’t want to, after all. However, my line is only Minnesota -9, so the value is on the Brooklyn side of the spread.
