TCU Horned Frogs vs Texas Longhorns
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
We’ve got an Austin vs Forth Worth, private school vs public school battle going down in Birmingham’s Legacy Arena tomorrow night, as the #2 ranked TCU Horned Frogs take on the top-seeded Texas Longhorns. Both teams have steamrolled the competition to get to this point, but it all ends tomorrow night for one of them.
And I think it’ll be the Horned Frogs going home dejected. All the advanced stats are in Texas’s favor over TCU – offense, defense, strength of schedule, advanced ratings, etc. And this seems to be the year of the top seed, so they’ve got that juju going for them (juju not JuJu).
However, after crunching the numbers, I have Texas as an 8.5-point favorite tomorrow night, so there’s not enough wiggle room for my liking with the spreads the books are offering. I’ll be a coward and take the Longhorns on the moneyline as my best bet for Monday.
