My best bet for tomorrow’s UFC Fight Night is coming from the curtain jerker, so make sure to tune in right at 4:00 pm EST. Things kick off with a lightweight bout between up-and-comer MarQuel Mederos and grizzled veteran Austin Hubbard.
And as is normally the case in matchups like this, I’m going with the younger man, Mederos, five years Hubbard’s junior. Not only is he younger, but he’s also a much better striker, knocking out six of his nine professional victims. Plus, Mederos has won seven straight fights, going over three years since tasting defeat.
Younger and a better, more dangerous striker are normally a winning combination, and they should be tomorrow for Mederos – and us.
