The UFC’s octagon continues its world tour this month, leaving The O2 Arena in London, England this past weekend to set up shop in Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico this coming weekend. And, just like in London, we’ve got a native son and former champ in the main event. For my MMA Prop Play of the Week: UFC Mexico City, I know how Saturday’s main event is going to play out.

UFC Fight Night: Moreno vs Erceg (aka UFC Mexico City)
Start Time: 4:00 PM EST (ESPN2/ESPN+)
How is Saturday’s main event going to play out, you ask? It’s going for all five rounds – 25 minutes of action. Not the boldest of predictions for a flyweight bout, to be honest, as 55% of 125-pound fights do go the distance. But there’s more to it than just the weight class.
One-half of Saturday’s main event, Steve Erceg, has only been stopped once in 15 professional bouts. And his opponent (who I’m picking to win), Brandon Moreno, is coming off a decision victory in his last fight. Brandon Moreno via decision is my prop play of the week.
