The NCAA Tournament has cured all the parlay ills that ailed me. I’ve hit three straight – all +257 or higher – and six of my last seven plays. If only March Madness lasted all year long. St. Mary’s Gaels vs Alabama Crimson Tide
Start Time: 6:10 PM EST
We start our journey in the East at the Mistake by the Lake. The St. Mary’s Gaels snuck by the #10 Vanderbilt Commodores on Friday, but the party ends tomorrow at the hands of the #2-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide.
While they say defense wins championships, and the Gaels’ defense is better than the Crimson Tide’s, Alabama is the better overall team. My line is Alabama -7.5.
Colorado State Rams vs Maryland Terrapins
Start Time: 7:10 PM EST
An hour later we’re off to Seattle for the 4 vs 12 matchup in the West Region. The clock strikes midnight for the Cinderellas of the tournament, the Colorado State Rams, tomorrow evening.
The advanced stats obviously like the Maryland Terrapins in this matchup, and they’re what I lean on to calculate my spreads. My line is Maryland -9.5, so the Terrapins on the spread is the last half of my winning parlay.
