After a typical UFC Fight Night at the UFC Apex (middleweight main event!), the UFC ups its game this weekend for UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs Brady (aka UFC London). This is a stacked fight card, with a couple of former UFC champs in the top two fights and top British talent spread throughout the fight card. For my MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC London, I’ve got a dog from the prelims who is finishing everyone who is put in front of him. Let’s go get that plus money!

UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs Brady (aka UFC London)
Start Time: 1:00 PM EST (ESPN+)
That demolisher of all before him is Chris ‘Taco’ Padilla, who faces hometown boy (he’s English, at least) Jai Herbert in the main event of the prelims on Saturday. While Herbert has some advantages in his favor (home crowd, length, better resume), there’s more than enough to like about Padilla to make him a live dog.
Such as the fact that Padilla has finished five straight opponents and is 2-0 in the UFC. He’s also seven years younger than Herbert, and has shown, at least in the UFC, to be both a better striker and a better grappler.
