The St. Francis Red Flash and the Alabama State Hornets don’t just have the unenviable position of being #16 seeds, but they also have to fight it out tomorrow just for the right to be crushed by #1 seed Auburn on Thursday.
The team earning that privilege will be the favorite – the Hornets. KenPom has them much higher ranked than the Red Flash, and all the other advanced stats point in their favor as well.
North Carolina Tar Heels vs San Diego State Aztecs

My best bet for tomorrow is the North Carolina Tar Heels earning the battle for the #11 seed by beating the San Diego State Aztecs. This has the makings of a much closer matchup than the other First Four game. However, the Heels are my pick to make it to the second round of the tournament, so they’re winning tomorrow night.
