Prelim Pick of the Week: UFC London
UFC Heavyweight Fight: Mick Parkin vs Marcin Tybura
Start Time: Saturday 12:00pm EST (ESPN+)
This line keeps drawing closer and closer, which tells us that the public money is on Mick Parkin. However, I just don’t see it. Parkin has fought almost nobody who shoots takedowns with regularity in his short UFC career. If you want to go back to his time on Contender Series, he gave up two takedowns on as many attempts from Eduardo Neves.
Marcin Tybura continues to be a force in the wrestling department. He has a way of dragging prospects into deep water on the mat to see what they’re made of. Jhonata Diniz didn’t survive the onslaught, and I’m not sure Parkin will here either.
Keep an eye out for this line movement. There is a chance that this dips into being an underdog play, which would be an incredible value.
