Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Picks March 14

Sean Pedulla, Underdog Fantasy college basketball, March 14

Today is the start of the final weekend of college hoops conference tournaments. It feels like Feast Week was just a month ago, and we were just learning who was who. Remember when there was serious talk that UConn might three-peat? It doesn’t feel that long ago. However, we still have a great slate of conference tournament action and plenty of games to build an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry with. We’ve got three projections for today’s games that you’ll want to use your entry.

Keep in mind that playing all three legs of our plays in Underdog Fantasy could win you 6X your money on a single entry. Let’s dig into tonight’s plays and remember to let it ride!

Sean Pedulla Higher Than 1.5 Turnovers

Ole Miss has a quick turnaround from yesterday’s match up against Arkansas. The Rebels get to face Auburn in the SEC tournament quarterfinal game today.

Ole Miss guard Sean Pedulla has faced Auburn twice this year. He had two turnovers in each match up. Pedulla has also gone higher than 1.5 turnovers in eight straight games. He just had four turnovers in only 26 minutes against Arkansas. Now, he has to face one of the nastiest defenses in the country on short rest? A team he’s already had two turnovers against in two different match ups?

Auburn enters this match up with a defense that generates 12.1 turnovers per game this year. They’re also coming into this game rested, while Ole Miss and Sean Pedulla have a very quick turnaround. This is one of the safest turnover projections on the board, and you’ll want it in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.

Zuby Ejiofor Higher Than 8.5 Rebounds

We just cashed with Xavier’s Zach Freemantle going higher than 6.5 rebounds against Marquette, so let’s run it back with St. John’s big man Zuby Ejiofor.

Marquette locks up with St. John’s in a Big East conference tournament semifinal match up today. The Golden Eagles come into this game allowing opponents to rack up 35.8 rebounds this year. That’s 261st in the nation.

Ejiofor enters this game averaging 8.2 rebounds per game this year. He’s gone higher than 8.5 rebounds in five of his last seven games. Ejiofor faced Marquette twice and racked up double-digit boards in both. He grabbed 13 boards on February 4th, and 12 rebounds on March 8th.

Marquette doesn’t clean the glass as well as they should, and opposing bigs have taken advantage. Lock up Ejiofor to go higher than 8.5 rebounds in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for March 14th.

Tyson Degenhart Higher Than 6.5 Rebounds

New Mexico and Boise State meet in a Mountain West Conference tournament semifinal game tonight.

The New Mexico Lobos enter this game allowing opponents to rack up 35.6 rebounds per game this year. That’s 247th in the nation. Let’s roll with Boise State forward Tyson Degenhart to pull down at least seven boards in this game.

Degenhart comes into this match up averaging 6.1 rebounds per game. He’s gone higher than 6.5 rebounds in five of his last eight games. Degenhart has faced New Mexico twice this year, and snagged seven boards in each.

This game should be exceptionally close, and there’s a non-zero chance that Degenhart plays close to 40 minutes. The more he’s out there, the more chances he can pull down a couple of extra boards and help us go higher. New Mexico struggles to keep opponents off the glass, and Degenhart needs to show up and show out for the Broncos. Going higher than 6.5 rebounds is the side we want for our Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
