The first UFC pay-per-view of 2025 goes down this Saturday in the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. And, just like this past weekend’s first UFC fight card of the year, we get a rematch in the main event. For my MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC 311, we’re hitting up the opener on the PPV portion of the card.

MMA Parlay Pick of the Week: UFC 311
UFC 311: Makhachev vs Tsarukyan 2
PPV Start Time: 10:00 pm EST (PPV)
Our main card opener on Saturday is a middleweight bout between the enigmatic Kevin Holland and one-fight UFC veteran Reinier de Ridder. While ‘The Dutch Knight’ has only fought once (and won) in the UFC octagon, he has extensive MMA experience, sporting an 18-2 overall record as a pro, and was a two-weight division title holder in the Asian promotion ONE Championship.
And, most importantly for this matchup, de Ridder is a grappling ace. Despite being a solid wrestler and grappler, Holland has shown the inability or the interest in stopping takedowns and getting back up off the mat, instead being complacent on the bottom. Against a killer on the mat like RDR, that is a losing strategy.
