Utah Jazz vs Phoenix Suns

Start Time – 5:00 PM EST

I’m a Phoenix Suns fan, but I can’t trust this team enough to bet on them currently. Even being back at full health, you never know which team is going to show up in their jerseys on any given night.

My numbers say Phoenix will win this game – they’re at home, and it’s against the Utah Jazz, after all. But they aren’t going to cover a spread this wide. Phoenix -7 is a more realistic line, so Utah on the spread is the play.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Minnesota Timberwolves

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

The Minnesota Timberwolves might finally be living up to the semi-high expectations placed upon them coming into this season, as they’ve won their last three games. However, the Memphis Grizzlies are still a better team, despite battling injuries for most of the season.

How much better? Advanced stats say almost five points on the spread better. Even after folding Minnesota’s home-court advantage into the mix, Memphis should be favored by two points in this spot.
