NFL Playoff Futures And Best Bets

NFL Playoff Futures And Best Bets

The NFL playoffs are almost here! They will kick off this weekend on Saturday with the Chargers and the Texans. Yes, we’ll have all our against-the-spread (ATS) picks for each game throughout the playoffs right here. However, before the playoffs officially start, you can still get down on some bets. I just finished as the number one ATS expert on Tallysight for the 2024 season. Now let’s cash some NFL playoff futures with some of my best bets!

NFL Playoff Futures And Best Bets

Super Wild Card Weekend Playoff bets

Let’s start with some of my favorite playoff best bets from the Super Wild Card Weekend. One that jumps out immediately from DraftKings (don’t forget promo code SGP) is “Ladd McConkey to have 1+ reception in each quarter” at +150. Ladd is Justin Herbert’s favorite target and this feels not only like an easy bet, but a fun one as well.

Looking at the NFL playoff futures, you can also predict the highest and lowest-scoring games. Plenty of these teams have high-powered offenses. However, I think the Vikings and Rams game will be a slugfest. It’ll also be one of only two indoor games for the first weekend. “Vikings at Rams to be the highest scoring game on Super Wild Card Weekend” is +350.

Before we move on to the NFL playoff futures, for our Super Wild Card Weekend playoff best bets there’s one more I like. On DraftKings under All Teams Specials, you can find “All Teams to Score 1+ Passing TD on Wild Card Weekend” at +500. I realize that some of these teams have great defenses. However, it’s the playoffs! Each team is going to bring their best and I think that will include a passing touchdown by each team.

NFL Playoff Futures – Super Bowl Bets

The first category under the NFL playoff futures is the NFL Champion. Who will win it all? It’s easy to want to take the Lions (+280) after the dominate year they’ve had. It’s just as easy to take the Chiefs (+350) who are looking to complete their three-pete. The Ravens (+600) rolled over a lot of teams as well.

However, there are two others I like. Buffalo Bills (+650) is my favorite team to back to win the Super Bowl. Josh Allen seems due after his MVP season. (Plot twist: if he isn’t MVP – we revolt!).

The other team I like to sprinkle a little on has a quarterback in concussion protocol right now. However, they have Saquon Barkley at running back, AJ Brown, and Devonta Smith at wide receiver. They have a killer offensive line and one of the top defenses. Philadelphia Eagles (+700) are worth a sprinkle as well. If you don’t think they can beat a team like the Bills or Chiefs, you can take the Eagles to win the NFC (+330).

If you’re like me, and I know I am, and you think the Bills will win the Super Bowl, then betting on the Super Bowl MVP is an easy pick. Josh Allen (+700) is the third favorite behind Patrick Mahomes and Jared Goff. Allen should win the regular season MVP and if they make the Super Bowl, they’ll win it because of him. He’s played lights out and done more with less.

Touchdown Specials For Super Wild Card Weekend

Before I talk about one of my bigger NFL playoff futures and best bets, let’s take one step back and focus on a special bet for Super Wild Card Weekend. You can find some Weekly Specials on multiple books. This one in particular revolves around touchdowns. I like “Any 4 of Irving, Cook, Evans, Addison, & Collins, to each individually score 1+ TDs” (+600).

Cook and Irving have been beasts on the ground. In fact, James Cook was second in most rushing touchdowns on the season. Bucky Irving came on strong later in the season and has supplanted Rachaad White as the starting running back. I don’t want to brag, but that is something I said would happen on Old-Fashioned Football during one of our preseason episodes.

Mike Evans is a go-to target for Baker Mayfield. Nico Collins is the same for CJ Stroud, especially with the injuries they’ve had at wide receiver to Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell. Finally, Jordan Addison is a wild card. He goes off in spurts, but this weekend the Rams will likely have all hands on deck focused on stopping Justin Jefferson. That will leave Addison open for a touchdown. All we need is for four of these five players to score a touchdown. I think all five do.

NFL Playoff Futures – Exacta

This is one of my crazier bets. However, I’ve been on this since Week 15. You have to shop around to find the Exacta NFL Futures right now, and you’ll want to get it in before the playoffs start. If you’re unfamiliar with an exacta bet for the Super Bowl, you’re picking the exact two teams that make the Super Bowl and which team will win.

I already said earlier, that I’m on the Buffalo Bills to win the Super Bowl. They’re my top pick. While it would be fun to see them beat a team like the Lions or the Eagles, I have a dark horse team I’m on to make a deep playoff run and make the Super Bowl.

This team has beaten the Eagles. This team has beaten the Lions. They can beat them both again. They’re also led by a complete dog at quarterback. Much like Josh Allen, he’ll lower his shoulder to take a hit rather than slide. If you haven’t guessed it yet, yes, I’m talking about Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Bucs.

These are the only two quarterbacks who have made it known that they pop in a ZYN pouch during the game, and the Super Bowl shall be a Zyn Bowl against two quarterbacks who are so fun to watch. Better yet, you can get the “BUF Bills To Beat TB Buccaneers” at +7500. A $10 sprinkle gets you $760. Let’s go, Josh, let’s go, Baker.
