Joshua Jefferson Higher Than 7.5 Rebounds

The Utah Utes visit Ames, IA for a match up with the Cyclones tonight. Utah enters this game allowing teams to grab 34.4 rebounds per game. That’s 157th in the nation. Iowa State big man Joshua Jefferson will clean the glass in this one.

Jefferson enters this game averaging 8.4 rebounds per game at home. He’s gone higher than 7.5 rebounds in seven out of 13 match ups this year.

Utah isn’t great at snagging boards, and Jefferson eats in Ames. Make sure you lock the higher numbers on Jefferson rebounds into your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for January 7th.

Andrew Meadow Higher Than 4.5 Rebounds

UNLV heads to Boise, ID for a game against the Broncos tonight. The Rebels allow opponents to grab 35.9 rebounds per game. That’s 241st in the nation. However, you’ll want to stay away from the 7.5 rebounds total on Tyson Degenhart and ride with the 4.5 rebounds total on Andrew Meadow.

Meadow averages 5.1 rebounds per game when playing at home this year. He’s gone higher than 4.5 rebounds in nine out of 15 games played this year.

He’s been a little cold on the rebounds front, but that’s because he’s had a couple of tough match ups recently. UNLV is not a tough match up on the boards, and Meadow should clean up while Degenhart struggles to get to the number.

Paulius Murauskas Higher Than 7.5 Rebounds

Loyola Marymount travels to McKeon Pavilion for a match up with St. Mary’s. LMU is allowing opponents to average 37.1 rebounds per game against. Gaels big man Paulius Murauskas is a rebounding machine in Moraga.

Murauskas is averaging 10.4 rebounds per game at home this year. He’s gone higher than 7.5 rebounds in eight out of 16 games played this year. He’s coming off a road game in which he only managed four rebounds, but the home trend with him is just to strong not to play.

Murauskas gobbles up boards at home, and this number is a little lower than it should be. Lock in the higher total on Murauskas’ rebounds total in your Underdog Fantasy. In fact, don’t be afraid to ladder this one up to 11 if you’re feeling spicy.
