AAn AFC East matchup to wrap up the 2024-2025 season between the Bills and the Patriots. The Bills are locked into the #2 seed but traditionally we have seen the Bills play their starters. There hasn’t been an indication from head coach Sean McDermott on how many snaps the starters will play this week. However, we do know that linebacker Terrel Bernard is out for the Bills with a quad injury. Additionally, wide receiver Curtis Samuel is listed as questionable with a rib injury.
On the other side, the Patriots are undecided whether Drake Maye will be the starting quarterback for the Patriots as he is officially listed as questionable. Center Ben Brown, cornerback Christian Gonzalez, and wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk are all out this week. Furthermore, the Patriots have listed tight end Hunter Henry and safety Kyle Dugger as questionable.

This game is one of the tougher wants to handicap this week just because we don’t know how the starters will be out there for the Buffalo Bills. If I had to guess, the Bills play the first half get out to a lead, and rest the starters. This game is not meaningful for the Bills. Now, for the Patriots, they are currently holding the #1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft.
I’ll take the Bills to come out in the first half and put the hammer down on the Bills. Again, what do the Patriots have to play for? Meanwhile, the Bills want to play well heading into the postseason where they haven’t found their way to getting to the Super Bowl under Josh Allen.
