The fans in the stands of Nashville’s Nissan Stadium haven’t had too much to cheer about this season (unless they were rooting for the visitors), as the Tennessee Titans are 1-6 at home heading into tomorrow’s final game of the season. And I’m not expecting them to have much to cheer about tomorrow, either.
This is a tough week to make picks in the NFL, as most teams don’t have anything tangible to play for. That would include the Houston Texans, who have locked up the #4 seed in the AFC Playoffs. However, they plan to play all their regular starters and will wait and see how the game goes, as they want to enter the playoffs with some momentum.
Under normal circumstances, the Texans should be favored by 5.5 points in this spot, so I’m comfortably taking a stab on them as an underdog.
