It is a simple scenario for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in this final week of the regular season, win and clinch the division and a playoff spot. That is the only path for the NFC South teams. The New Orleans Saints are a team that has been decimated by injuries this season. Will the Saints be able to pull off the upset? Below are the Saints at Buccaneers Preview and Predictions!

As I mentioned above, the Saints have been injury-riddled all season and that will continue in this final game. The Saints will be without Derek Carr, running back Kendre Miller and Alvin Kamara is listed as doubtful. Meanwhile, wide receiver Chris Olave is questionable after spending the past month plus on the IR.

Meanwhile, the Buccaneers are listing cornerback Jamal Dean out for this game as he deals with a knee injury. Further, tight end Cade Otton is listed as doubtful, and wide receiver Sterling Shepard is questionable with a hamstring injury.

Best Bets

I am going to keep this one simple. Buccaneers are playing at a high level right now due to their offense. Now they have the opportunity to beat a wounded team in the Saints who will have Spencer Rattler starting on the road. The Buccaneers in Week 17 came out in the first half and took care of business led by their offense.

The Saints this season on the road are 2-5 SU and ATS. Furthermore, since the 2022 season, the Saints on the road are 9-15 SU and 8-15-1 ATS. I expect a big week from Baker Mayfield, Mike Evans, and the Buccaneers offense.

Best Bet: Buccaneers -14 and Team Total Over 27.5

Player Prop Best Bet

Baker Mayfield Over 254.5 Passing Yards

Baker Mayfield is playing at a high level right now and at the right time. As I mentioned above, Mayfield has willed this team to the brink of clinching the NFC South division title. Mayfield has back-to-back games of 300+ passing yards against the New Orleans Saints. Additionally, Mayfield has exceeded this projection in four straight games. I expect another big passing yard game from Mayfield.
