College Basketball Picks December 23
Middle Tennessee +26.5 @ Tennessee
The number one team in the nation squares off against an in-state foe in this one as the only ranked team to play today. We won’t have any College Hoops tomorrow, so make sure you lock in a pick for today. The Vols come into this one as 26.5-point favorites at home, and I’ll be siding with Middle Tennessee here.
The Blue Raiders are 7-2-1 against the spread this season and 4-1-1 as an underdog. My thought process for this one is quite simple. With the holiday coming up, Tennessee won’t play again until New Year’s Eve. As heavy favorites here, I think they could already be in vacation mode. Also, with finals being over and winter break being in full effect, Tennessee might not have the raucous home-court advantage they typically have.
