Despite what the polls and their record say, the behind-the-scenes advanced stats have the Buckeyes pegged as the best team in the nation.
The loss to the Wolverines was the Buckeyes’ only loss in Columbus this season, while Tennessee is a mediocre 2-2 on the road (excluding neutral site games). Add in the historical 3.5 points the home-field advantage is worth for Ohio State – plus their superior strength of schedule this season – and it should all add up to Ohio State being a 12.5-point favorite tomorrow night.
