New Orleans Pelicans vs Houston Rockets

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

Here’s a squash match if I ever saw one. Not only are the 5-22 New Orleans Pelicans the second-worst team in the NBA, but they are also without their two best players, Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram, as per usual. And the Houston Rockets are one of the best teams in the NBA and are 10-3 at home (oh ya – New Orleans is 1-13 on the road).

I have this game lined up as Houston -22, which is more than twice the spread we’re being given. Let’s go!

Atlanta Hawks vs San Antonio Spurs

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

I figured this line would be closer than it should be after the Atlanta Hawks’ strong showing in the NBA Cup. But they play in the weak Eastern Conference, and I’m not convinced of them being a good team, especially on the road against a Western Conference team.

The San Antonio Spurs are solid at home (9-7) and they have that Victor guy. My numbers say that this game should be San Antonio -5, so the Spurs are the side that gets my money.
