The UFC may have the audacity to take a brief hiatus over the holiday season, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t any MMA to watch and gamble on. The Polish promotion KSW – one of Europe’s top promotions – runs an event this Friday in Paris with their lightweight championship on the line in the main event, plus two former UFC fighters fighting on the undercard. My MMA Gambling Podcast cohost was shocked when he heard that German fighter Eduard Kexel was an underdog for his featherweight fight against French fighter Alioune Nahaye on Friday, and that’s good enough for me considering Gumby is a regional MMA savant.
Kexel is not only bigger and younger than Nahaye but he’s also won six straight fights, not tasting defeat since March 2021. The thought is he’ll be able to use his grappling and grind down his French opponent, and in the process negate his knockout power.
