The last UFC offering of 2024 goes down this Saturday in Tampa, Florida’s Amalie Arena. It’s not a star-studded fight card, but there are plenty of good fights scheduled and plenty of spots to make some money. For my MMA Prop Pick of the Week: UFC Tampa, we’re hitting up a main card light heavyweight fight that I expect to end with someone knocked out.

UFC Fight Night: Covington vs Buckley
Main Card Start Time: 10:00 pm EST (ESPN2/ESPN+)
The light heavyweight matchup in question would be fourth from the top on Saturday, pitting Brazilian Vitor Petrino against American Dustin Jacoby. And I’m in on the Brazilian in this fight, and considering this is a prop article, I’m in on him knocking out Jacoby.
I’m concerned about the mileage Jacoby has on him – he had a full career in kickboxing in between his lengthy career in MMA – and he got knocked out in his last fight. While he is a better technical striker than Petrino, I don’t think Jacoby’s chin can hold up to a drawn-out striking battle with ‘Icao’.
