Max Shulga Higher Than 9.5 Rebounds + Assists

The Penn Quakers visit the VCU Rams tonight in Richmond, VA. Rams guard Max Shulga should fill up the state sheet in this one.

First, the Penn Quakers are really mediocre defensively. They allow teams to average 15.0 assists per game against. That’s 270th in the nation. The Quakers also allow opponents to average 38.0 rebounds per game against. That’s 294th in the nation. Shulga is really good at pulling down boards and setting up teammates.

Shulga is averaging 6.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game this year. He’s cleared 9.5 rebounds and assists in four out of nine games this year. The trend isn’t on our side, but this is a great match up for Shulga. Lock him in to go higher than 9.5 rebounds and assists in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.

Leonardo Bettiol Lower Than 18.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists

Abilene Christian heads to Waco, TX for a match up with the Baylor Bears. Baylor is at home and off a loss to UConn. This game is also Abilene Christian’s fourth straight road game. The hashtag ‘Pray4Abilene’ should be trending tonight.

Bettiol has done well in recent games, but he’s more of a scorer than a rebounder, and he also gets into foul trouble. Abilene Christian will struggle to score against a top tier Baylor defense. Bettiol has height, but he lacks bulk. Baylor will push him around underneath. He’s also racked up four fouls or more in five of nine games.

Bettiol is averaging 15.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists. He’s only gone lower than 18.5 PRA three times in nine games, but given the step up in competition, he’s likely to struggle.

Bettiol may pick up double digits points just by being out there, but he’s unlikely to do much in terms of rebounds or assists. Bettiol’s under on PRA is one of the safest plays on the board tonight.

Mackenzie Mgbako Higher Than 18.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists

The Minnesota Golden Gophers will visit Bloomington for a match up with the Indiana Hoosiers. While this game might see both teams score in the 60s, Indiana forward Mackenzie Mgabko should get his.

Last year, Mgbako put up 19 points, four rebounds and two assists against the Golden Gophers in Bloomington. A lot of the same cast is back with Minnesota this season.

Mgbako is averaging 15.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game at home this year. He’s cleared 18.5 PRA in only four out of nine games this year, but his workload has been limited in some of the buy games. Mgbako should get a full workload in Indiana’s first Big 10 game of the season.

Also, the Golden Gophers allow opponents to grab 35.1 rebounds per game this year. That’s 173rd in the nation, and should get worse as they head into Big 10 play. Mgbako should be able to grab a bunch of rebounds, and he’ll get his on the offensive end.

Make sure you go higher on Mgbako’s PRA in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for December 9th.
