We only had one NBA game on Monday, but I nailed it and padded up my bankroll some more. With this being NBA Cup week, we’ve got small slates to work with. Dallas Mavericks vs Oklahoma City Thunder

Start Time – 9:30 PM EST

The premier game on the docket tomorrow is the Dallas Mavericks visiting the Oklahoma City Thunder in NBA Cup quarterfinal action. These are two top-five teams in the NBA, so this should be a fun game. But the home team is going to win.

The Thunder are head and shoulders better than the rest of the league this season. They’ve got the league’s best defense (even with Chet Holmgren on the shelf) and a high-powered offense. Despite the roll Dallas has been on (seven straight wins and 11 of their last 12), OKC at home is the play.

My numbers have this spread worked out to be Oklahoma City -8.5, so we’re getting some good value at the books.

(Note: I have no play for the other game of the day – Milwaukee vs Orlando – due to the injuries to key players on both sides. I can’t trust my numbers to be accurate in this situation).
