The Jimmy V Classic goes down tomorrow in New York City, and the country’s new #1 team, the Tennessee Volunteers, kick things off in the evening’s first game. Tennessee has steadily climbed the rankings until reaching the top this week, compiling an 8-0 record in the process.
And they’ve got a cupcake of a matchup tomorrow night in The Big Apple. The Miami Hurricanes have lost six straight games and are close to going a full month without tasting victory. And that’s without even playing a true road game this season (they are 0-3 in neutral site games, which will be the case tomorrow night).
Crunching my top secret numbers, the spread here should be Tennessee -23, so despite the double-digit number we’re getting for a spread at the books, there’s still value for us on the Vols.
