Tre Johnson Higher Than 1.5 Three-Pointers Made

UConn heads to the Moody Center for a match up with the Texas Longhorns. The Huskies enter this game allowing opponents to shoot 36.2% from beyond the arc. That’s 293rd in the nation.

Texas freshman Tre Johnson is averaging 3.1 three-pointers made per game. He does even better at home where he averages 3.3 three-pointers per game. Johnson as also cleared 1.5 three-pointers in six out of eight games this year.

Johnson can fill it up and his points total is also in play, but the three-pointers is the match up that makes the most sense. Lock up the higher total on Tre Johnson three’s in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for December 8th.

Trazarien White Higher Than 3.5 Rebounds

TCU welcomes Vanderbilt to the Dickies Arena today. The Commodores enter this game averaging 35.8 rebounds to opponents this season. That’s 209th in the nation.

Trazarien White comes into this one averaging 3.4 rebounds per game. He’s cleared 3.5 rebounds in four of his last five.

Also, this is a ‘neutral site’ game, so the site lines will be different than TCU’s arena, and that can often make for more missed shots. White should get more than enough chances to grab a few boards against a Vandy team that struggles to keep opponents off the glass.

Let’s ride White to continue racking up rebounds at an unfamiliar arena against a team that looks a little soft.

Dajaun Harris Higher Than 1.5 Steals

Kansas heads to Columbia, MO to face off against the Missouri Tigers. The Tigers are a challenge to handicap because they’ve only played one really good team this year, but this is a spot for Kansas guard to pick up a few steals.

Harris is averaging 1.8 steals per game. His cleared 1.5 steals in five out of eight games this year. He’s also really good at staying out of foul trouble and he plays a ton of minutes as a key distributor and defender for the Jayhawks. He should get plenty of minutes in this one as long as it’s close.

Mizzou allowed Memphis guard Tyrese Hunter to pick up a pair of steals in the season opener. Cal’s Jovan Blackshear just snagged five steals against Missouri. The Tigers are also allowing only 10.4 steals per game, but that has more to do with the level of competition they’ve played this year.

Missouri is primed to regress here, and a tough match up against Kansas is a likely spot for mistakes to occur. Go higher on Dajuan Harris steals in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
