In what was supposed to be a competitive Week 14 matchup in Miami between the Jets and the Dolphins has lost its luster. Buffalo clinches the AFC East Division and neither team has a chance to make the playoffs in the AFC. Nonetheless, both teams meet in Miami for pride. The New York Jets come into this game without the services of running Breece Hall and cornerback Sauce Gardner. Additionally, the Jets placed linebacker C.J. Mosley on the IR, and offensive tackle Alijah Vera-Tucker has not practiced as of Friday. Meanwhile, for the Miami Dolphins they too have several question marks on who will be available in this game. As of Thursday, offensive tackle Terron Armstead has not practiced as he is dealing with a knee injury.
Surely it has been a disappointing season for both teams who had aspirations of making the playoffs at minimum. Questions certainly surround both teams when it comes to the future, especially at the quarterback position for the New York Jets.
